External Oval Glove Port

Designed in a similar way to our circular ports, MIP Ltd’s 150 x 250mm External Oval Glove Port offers a practical and secure solution for glovebox and containment applications where additional maneuverability and reach are essential.

Manufactured in the UK, the assembly consists of a port, inner securing oval and two gaskets, creating a robust fixing arrangement suitable for a wide range of controlled environments.

Standard Port Assembly

Each External Oval Glove Port assembly comprises:

• Acetal external oval glove port
• Acrylic inner securing oval
• 2 x Neoprene Gasket
• Stainless steel fixing screws

The assembly is secured using pan head threaded screws, which clamp the port, gaskets, and securing oval firmly into position, providing a reliable seal and secure installation.

Unique External-Mount Design
The distinctive design of the external oval port allows the port to be installed on a screen of any thickness

Secure Glove Retention
The glove port features two integrated retaining grooves, allowing the beaded cuff of a glove to locate securely within the port. This design helps maintain glove positioning and provides a dependable connection between the glove and the enclosure.

Installation Information
The standard external oval assembly is designed for installation onto screens or windows of any thickness.

For applications with screen thicknesses less than 12mm, MIP recommends the use of the Internal Oval Glove Port Assembly, which is specifically designed to accommodate thinner panels.
