Circular Glove Ports

Engineered for reliability, durability, and secure glove retention, MIP’s circular glove ports are manufactured in the UK and designed to meet the demands of controlled environments across a wide range of industries.

We manufacture and supply 150mm and 192mm glove ports as standard, available off the shelf to meet common industry requirements. Produced using compression-moulded phenolic resin, these ports offer excellent mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and long-term performance in demanding applications.

Standard Port Assembly
Each standard glove port assembly comprises:

• Circular glove port
• Inner securing ring
• Two neoprene gaskets
• Fixing screws

The assembly is designed for straightforward installation and secure mounting. The port and gaskets are fixed to the screen using screws that thread directly into inserts within the inner securing ring, which is positioned on the reverse side of the screen. This arrangement provides a robust and reliable seal while ensuring the assembly remains firmly secured in operation.

Secure Glove Retention
The glove port features two integrated retaining grooves, allowing the beaded cuff of a glove to locate securely within the port. This design helps maintain glove positioning and provides a dependable connection between the glove and the enclosure.

Transfer Ports
In addition to our standard glove ports, MIP also manufactures larger 250mm and 305mm circular ports that can be used as a transfer port or simply a large glove port for additional manoeuvrability.
